Our niece, Samantha(or Baby Anta, as Annie says) was blessed about a month ago. She looked beautiful in her dress and was so cooperative. She never made a peep and Curt gave her a beautiful blessing! We enjoyed going over to their new home afterwards for some yummy food and dessert! We are so happy to have Samantha part of our family, she is such a sweetheart and so adorable!(Thanks for letting us steal these pic's off your blog, mom...my camera was dead so I'm glad you got some good pic's!)
London looked adorable and did such a great job!!! I wasn't sure how we were going to get through 30 plus dances with Anaston but she surprised me! She was SO into the dancing, she just sat on my mom's lap and watched each dance and as soon as it was over would ask,"Is another one coming?!?" (with high hopes) By the last few dances, she was in the aisle copying every move on stage and dancing herself. It was the cutest thing you"ve ever seen! Everyone was watching her insteas of the stage! ha ha We"re now looking into lessons:)
This last week I've had the privilege of helping with my sister and JaNae and her girls for the majority of each day. My sis is really sick and has some scary medical things going on so with my mom being gone I have got to help alot with taking care of her, taking her to doc appts, entertaining her girls, taking care of my parents house, etc. Although I wish JaNae were doing alot better, the plus out of this is how much I get to see them!:)
Lunch dates, swimming, going out for ice cream, watching movies and having popcorn, bath time, talking with JaNae...it's all been fun! And my parents ward has been bringing in dinner each night which has been great!!!
Anaston kept rolling all around...she loved the hills on the golf course and how she could roll down. Only once she tried rolling when we were in our seats, she was running into people! Especially Nanny and Tommy! ha ha
They did a neat 4th of July parade for the kids in the morning and man, they go all out up there! We were some of the only people watching, since almost everyone participates. Anaston loved looking at everything and waving at the people going by...and of course collecting candy!:)
Brian and I celebrated our anniversary and it was a wonderful day! We went and met him for lunch at work. Anaston and I then went to Target to find him a good card. I got everything written down that I wanted to say and put it on his pillow. I thought we weren't doing gifts this year with some recent not so fun things that have come up and drained the bank account so I thought my card was fine. Then Brian comes walking in from work and gets changed quickly so we can go to dinner wiht my parents and I walk out to find two dozen, long stemmed roses arranged beautifully in a vase that he had delivered to me with the sweetest note on them. Being emotional and pregnant I broke into tears of joy. It was so sweet and took my breath away. We joined my family for dinner at Rubio's and then my Dad treated us all to gelato afterwards. It was sooo delicious! We had a great day! I'm so greatful for my marriage with Brian and all that has come our way so far, good and bad...we've learned from it and become stronger and happier because of it. Thank you for such a beautiful daughter and another one to be here in a month!Happy Anniversary Bri, love ya!
Daddy's Birthday Dinner at my parents. With my brother in law's birthday. Brian's birthday and Father's Day all being so close. Brian didn't get his birthday dinner at my parents till a little late but better late than never! The food was yummy and it was nice to see everyone that could come and support Bri. He got some nice gifts from everyone. Thanks mom and everyone!
