My Birthday Celebration!

I made these sugar cookies for myself a couple days before my birthday...I love the recipe my mom had for sugar cookies and the frosting, they're simply the best! Anaston's super fun babysitter

Look at what I got from Jade as a souvenier from her babysitting job! So cute and funny!

It was my 24th Birthday on the 10th and wow, for the first time this birthday made me feel old!23 didn't sound so bad but 24, are you kidding me?!? I'm about halfway to 30!(No offense Mel and Gabe! ha ha) I had a great day though! Anaston was an extra good girl and so sweet to me! She must have known it was my day! ha ha My mom took me birthday shopping to the Chandler Mall in the morning(that's our little tradition). We grabbed lunch and came home so Anaston could get her nap. I got to relax for a bit and did some more shopping with my mom. Brian got home from work and suprised me with a big bouquet of beautiful long stem red roses(my favorite)! He got me some little treats(some of my favorite candies) and a gift card to go on a shopping spree...exactly what I wanted from him! He was getting bugged that I kept telling him what to get me cuz he likes to do suprises but he gave in and I was happy about that! Jade was our babysitter and Brian and I got to get out to go on our date! He took me to Costa Vida, which was my pick!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Costa Vida! Then we got Mesa's for dessert(another favorite of mine) It was delicious! We had so much fun together! We love Anaston and our time with her but every now and then you just need that time alone, ya know? It felt like we were dating again. He was so sweet to me! What a perfect present itself! When we got home Iwas anxious to see what Jade and Anaston did cuz she told me she had something fun planned. She got her down in her diaper and mad her chocolte pudding and let fer finger paint! What a great idea! I have to get the pictures from her! Anaston loved it and loved eating it! My mom told me Jade did a great job! Thanks Jade! I got a few new nice shirts from Nordstrom from my mom and Dad, a new pair of A Pocket Seven Jeans I've been wanting, gift cards form Jade, Jaymee and Jordan that Jade suprised me with when I went in there andso I got to get a couple more shirts, I already told you the stuff form Brian and Anaston, a nice setof 3 Apothecary Jars that I'd really been wantng from my mother and father in law, a $50 gift card to my favorite jewelry...Cookie Lee from JaNae and her family and many nice cards, money and phone calls form family and friends that I really appreciate and meant alot to me! Thank you everyone for making my birthday the wonderful day that it was! Oh and I can't leave out that when it turned midnight the night before my birthday, my family was all still up pulling a late nighter and m mom came in carrying a huge, really neat balloon tied to a bag of tootsie rolls(I LOVE THOSE) and they sang to me. It was so sweet! Thanks!
