Christmas Eve 2008

We woke up to a very swollen and in mounds of pain Daddy! Brian had seen the dentist the day before and found out he needs two root canals out of the blue! He got scheduled for Monday but his antiobiotics hadn't kicked in so he was swollen! We had to bug the dentist on Christmas Eve to get pain med's that worked and up his dosage on the antibiotics! So needless to say, the day started off interesting. He stayed home and rested while I went with my Dad and siblings to his traditional lunch and last minute Christmas shopping at Scottsdale mall. Luckily I had my shopping done, but it's always fun to just be there together and in the spirit, eating a yummy lunch and finding neat things. We got home, got our presents together and headed over to my parents. We pulled into their neighborhood to find the traditional lumanaries lining the entire neighborhood in front of each house! Neasest tradition out there! We had a delicious dinner...take out from Rosa's and Mango's, along with my mom's homemade taco salad. We opened the gifts us siblings gave eachother and the grandkids. Every year we have a great time together! Thank you Mom and Dad for all your preparation and all my siblings for their wonderful and tothoughtful gifts to our family! Oh...and Brian was feeling much better my dinner!

Family Christmas Party

We went to the Jenning's family Christmas party, Tuesday night. The food was yummy, Santa came, the kids had a blast playing together, the adults had fun chattin away, Grandpa J did his traditional passing out of the Christmas envelopes...they spoiled us!!! It was fun as usual!

Again, my kind and generoud friend, Posey, met me out at my parents one morning to snap a few quick shots of us for our Christmas card. It was a HORRIBLE morning! Her kids were upset, Annie was upset. Annie would NOT cooperate! She balled or ran around and played, staining her while leggings in dirt. I cannot believe we got even 1 family shot! She's not smilng, but she's not crying! I loved the ones of me and Brian and of me and Annie. That was her only happy moment. Ant that's cuz Posey was tickling her. Thanks for sticking with us through a un cooperative photo shoot on our end! She always ends up getting great pic's somehow!

In the last coupke months, Anaston has decided she doesn't like to cooperate when I want to take a picture of her. She purposely will look away, say cheeseand smile for me occasionaly but only when she's looking away really, or she quickly tries to act like she's doing something so she doesn't have to take a picture, she is easily distracted, etc. This is what I'm talking about... only this was actually a pretty good day.
