1. Your dreams and goals:
DREAMS:
To be a gymnast and make it to the olympics...ok and be a gold medalist!
To be a nurse! This was always my dream career. Doesn't go together with wanting to be a stay at home mom...hair does! ha ha

To own a boat...I LOVE going to the lake! All lake sports are great!

And to own quads!!!! So fun!

Re-visit our honeymoon spot..Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! Anyone who has ever been lucky enough to visit there completely understands why I dream of going back! Oh, and can my in laws pay for it again please? It's much more fun when it's not your money you're losing! ha ha



GOALS:

Be sealed in the temple as a family forever...the San Diego temple would be fun!:)

Be a family of 6! I think 4 kids would be perfect for me! But hey, that could change! More or less!

Travel!

Go to Disneyland!!! The rides, the atmosphere, and especially watching Anaston and how much she's enjoying herself!...everything about it!


5. Name 2 material things you love or need:

Tapatio on just about everything! Any of you who really know me know how crazy I am about having my food as hot as possible! I even used to carry a bottle in my purse...that is till I got an ulcer! Now it can just go on one or two meals a day...not three! ha ha



Gotta have my cell phone! It is the weirdest feeling to be without it! I have to be able to stay in touch with family and friends!

Happy Birthday Matthew!!!!

Wanted to give a special Happy Birthday shout out to our nephew Matthew. I can't believe he is already Three! See you guys at the party tonight!

Anaston's television life...actually a good thing!

Ever since Anaston was only a few months old, she would sit on my bed in her boppy pillow and Little Einstein's would completely grab her attention! I could actually take a shower and get ready without a peep cuz she wouldn't take her eyes off of it! Along with LIttle Einsteins, she grew a love for Handy Manny...

and My Friends Tigger and Pooh.

Mickeymouse Clubhouse was her first OBSESSION!!! She started really getting into Mickey at about 9 months and was overly obsessed and still is! She has everything you can think of that is Mickey mouse clubhouse, including every single character in a stuffed animal, which she chooses from to sleep woth every night. Her fist birthday party was evern Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and she had already been to Disneyland and met Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Goofy when she wans't even two yet and LOVED every second of it!!!

Ever since anout August of last year, she all of a sudden one day told me she wanted to watch Dora. I had never even shown her Dora. She learned about her form her cousin, London I think. So she started watching her along with Mickey every day and took to it immediately! I couldn't believe it but but by the time she was 2, Dora had taken the place of Mickey. It kinda made me sad. She obsessed over Dora for a while. She also has so any Dora things now! Dvd's, stuffed animals, an official backpack and map, games, books, bed, pillow, sheets, blankie, food...you name it! But she fortunately let Mickey back into her life and now everyday she looks forward to watching episodes of Dora, Mickey and My Friends Tigger and Pooh. Those are her three favorites, although she also loves Manny and Einsteins and will watch them often. I am actually glad she likes these shows so much! They have taught her so many things! Shows are so educational these days. She knows Spanish words, how to count, her colors, and so mch more from these video's. She knows every song, dance, how every episode goes and loves to tell me what's going to happen and interacts with the show. I thinks it's adorable. I'm glad she has something that she looks forward to so much and that makes her so happy and comforted. And teaches her! We most recently bought her Big Sister Dora, when we found out she was going to be a big sister. She loves it. She loves the babies. She loves the Dora party and has me reinact the suprise with her for Boots' suprise party. We also do the mambo together. She totally knows it and does it so good! My favorite is when she wiggles her hips! You would die if you saw it! Anaston is the ultimate Dora lover and is very protective of her. She makes everyone want to watch her! You can't help but have it rub off onto you! Anyone has to love Dora! It's too cute and very educational!

Little Miss...

Little Miss Lady!(Always trying on our shoes, my underwear, my EVERYTHING!!!...too grown up already!) Little Miss Sweet Tooth!(LIVES for treats! This is Annie with her first taste of a Sprinkles cupcake)

Little Miss Monkey!(She is ALWAYS climbing! She'll fit herself into any little space, loces to climb, jump off, etc)

Little Miss Stinker!(Why is it that I ask for a cheese smile and she sticks her tongue out instead and laughs cuz she knows exactly what she's doing?!? ha ha)

Little Miss Smartie Pants(Anaston has always been WAY ahead for her age, it's unbelieveable. It never ceases to amaze me everyday. Knowing how to count to 13, knows all her colors, all her shapes, everything! This particular night I fond her in her room with a box of colorful goldfish, sitting there sorteing them out by color. WHAT?!? Don't most kids just eat them? I was shocked! How did she know to do that and what made her want to?!? The way her brain works is amazing and I can't wait to see what she makes of herself some day. She's going to do something amazing, I know that!)

Little Miss Deceiving!(This is her sweet little "I'm doinmg nothing , Mom" face. What it really means is as soon as you turn away, I'm going to stand on top of my zebra like you tell me not to.

Little Miss Daredevil...not afraid of ANYTHING! And always trying new things out! No fear! Absolutely none!

Little Miss Challenge Me!...Just when you think she's done something amazing, she'll turn right around and show you she can do more than what you just saw!

Little Miss Fishy!...Anaston loves the water! She loves bath time, playing in the sink, playing with a running hose and especially swimming(sing-a!)! It's quite a luxury having a heated pool and still being able to swim in January!

And of course, Little Miss Trouble!...Eventhough one of the number one things she knows she can't get into is my makeup because of a past experience, she can't handle her urge for wanting to put make up on just like Mommy. She was awful quiet for a few minutes this day while I was getting ready. I knew it was too good to be true! Found her hiding on the side of my bed, looking in the mirror, putting on my lipstick she some how got a old of...EVERYWHERE!!! Hair, cheeks, eyes, chin, neck, ears, hands, shirt and pants. She was so proud of doing her own "make". Wow!!!

I'm a Big Girl Now!!!

We put Anaston in a big girl bed a little over a month ago and I was just realizing I never even blogged about it! Maybe because she did AMAZING and I never had anything to worry about or complain about I simply didn't think of it! But she deserves some recognition for how well she's done with this big step! Anaston had learned to push her chair up next to her crib and jump in as a way of entertaining herself only it looked a little dangerous as she would fall on her head. It didn't phase her of course but it got me to thinking if she was figuring out climbing in, it was only a matter of time to climbing out! I really didn't want the broken leg or neck in the middle of the night be my wake up call so we went right ahead and got her a big girl bed. I wanted to just put our extra queen size bed in there but Brian helped me realize that would take up her whole room and not give her much room to play so he surprised me and bought her the cutest little toddler bed with her ultimate favorite...DORA sheets, comforter and pillow to match her room. I was very impressed and surprised myself when he came home woth it. It was like Christmas that night, taking down her crib and moving her new one in there and re arranging her room. She LOVED it from the second she saw it! She was jumping on it while Brian took down her crib like it was a tramp. ha ha She would stand on the matress and say 1...2...3...jump!...and jump off and crack up. We let her do it for a bit for fun but then had to get serious about it and help her realize the danger. She's never once asked about her crib, she went right to bed in it that night like normal, didn't try and get out, slept through the night, etc. The only part that was SO weird for me to get used to and still is, is the part where she gets out of bed all by herself, turns of her shell, and comes in my room or wherever I am to find me holding her blankie and stuffed animals and says Hi mommy! You know exactly what I'm talking about if you've been throught this! I'll never forget the first morning where I wake up out of nowhere and realize her shell isn't on, on the monitor and I hear knocking at my door saying hi Mommy! She now opens my door of course but that first day, it was cute how she knocked first.I'm so lucky she did so good! I've heard nightmares! Yeah Annie!!!

OUR BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!...and our BIG scare!

Yes, the rumor is true! We are expecting Baby #2!!! Woo hoo!!! Brian and I started talking about #2 last summer! Brian would have been happy having them like a year apart I swear but I needed a little more time! We decided to get pregnant in the fall. I don't mean to sound selfish but I was really enjoying my life being a mother of one child at the moment and was just enjoying our one on one time. I kept pushing the months back to when I was ready cuz I just couldn't imagine not having it just be me and Annie anymore! That and after talking to pretty much every one of my frinds with two kids...they said closer to three years apart is a million times better than closer to two years apart for obvious terrible two reasons! ha ha Then it hit me like a load of bricks. I woke up one day and finally felt ready! Just like that! So I thought about it and before we could even say start trying, I had an announcement! It was crazy! Glad that switch flipped when it did! My good friend, Posey had bought me a test as a joke and had me take it at her house one night. The ONLY reason I went foward with it was cuz I SWORE there was no way I could already be pregnant and it was a little early to tell anyway! Didn't matter...after a little persuasion, there it was. A faint positive line. I thought...piece of crap! Posey informed me there are never any false positives so we got a first response and wow...o pretty quick, dark second line for detecting early I must say! We were laughing and freaking out! I was so excited! We tried to keep it from Brian for two weeks till Christmas but ya right, I couldn't do it! I atleast had to tell B! So I told him two days later and decided not to tell our families for a bit. Brian didn't agree and told them that night!!! What a poor sport! ha It was fun to tell though! I am SOOO glad and thankful for how perfect everything turned out! We are very blessed to be able to get pregnant so easy! It came at the most perfect time! I was ready, I am ready and Anaston is very proud she's going to be a big sis!

Now for the scare...I decided not to blog about the baby till I was about through the first trimester! Now that I'm only about a week away from that, I decided it was ok. I'm driving to B's parents house and started losing large amounts of blood very quickly out of nowhere! I freaked out, called Brian and was balling thinking I had a miscarriage! I got to his parents and paged the doc and layed down. I got some advice but had to lay low all weekend and felt like absolute crap till I could find out for sure on Monday! My mom and sis Jade drove me home. I had to lay down in the back of her car! It was nuts! Talk about a long three days to find out whether you're still pregnant or not! It was an awful weekend to say the least but our families were ALOT of help and saved me! Yesterday finally came and I, along with the doctors and nurse after thinking my symptoms didn't sound too good, were extremely suprised and happy to see EVERYTHING was ok! Baby and all it's surroundings! Heart beating fine, etc. It was a huge relief to see that sewwt baby instantly on the moniter with it's heart beating! Dr. Beck is guessing with the placenta growing, it must have been laying on a blood vessel funny and made it burst! Whew! So I'm laying low for the week. I had to get a DEEP Rhogam shot to take precaution with all the blood I lost but everything looks great! I go back in three weeks and will give an update! For now, I am 11 weeks and due August 19! Salads, water, swimming pool, and dresses with flip flops...here I come! I am not nervous at all for a summer pregnancy! I see alot of pluses now actually! I have an excuse to be fat in the summer instead of akward trying to lose baby fat body and get to cover up in winter while I lose my weught! I get to sit in the pool all summer! And my new born wont have to be in the dreadful hot it's first 4 months of it's life! One manth and cooler weather is on it's way! In the future...birthday pool parties! (Something I always wanted with a January birthday!) VERY EXCITING!!!

One of my best friends, Posey, at the drop of a dime found out they have to pack up and move to Indiana for her hubby's new job! Move??? Indiana??? What???? I a still in shock and not happy about losing my best friend but on the other hand I am really excited for them. This will be a great opportunity for them and we look forward to the day they are back! Plus, now I have a new place to go visit now! This particular day, Amy and I went to lunch with Posey to KC's..yum!!! It was supposed to be a goodbye linch...but it actually ended up just being the start of quit a few more goodbye lunches and dinners! That's it for now! Still a few more posts to come but waiting on pictures!

One day while Nanny and Poppy were here, we went out to the fair grounds for the livestock show that JaNae's husband's family participates in every year. It was alot of fun! Tons of cute things for the kids to do, yummy food and fun things to see! This is Annie collecting eggs

And she got to search for hidden potatoes in the dirt! She found a bunch and even managed to carry that heavy bucket all by herself!

We started potty training. Annie has decided she doesn't like to have a diaper on and takes it off frequently and has accidents so I thought I'd start toying with the idea of potty training, though early and try and resolve this problem. I'm in no rush but she's having fun with it. This was her first time she succeeded in her potty..she was pretty proud!
