Christmas Day 2009

Christmas morning, we had to wake Annie up suoer early(for her) and have her open presents with mommy and daddy before we had to book it to Grandma and Papa's and then onto Grandma Knight's. Christmas morning is a little crazy for us. Annie had so much fun opening her presents! She ripped through them quickly! She kept giving ooh's and aw's and yeah's and oh cute's! ha ha

Her favorite was her original Doar backpack from Daddy. She had to take it with her the whole day! It even had an official map in it! So cute!

She started playing with him even before we could get him out of the box! She couldn't wait!

She also got this really cute drawing board and book that is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Dora Dominoes from Aunt Melly...she LOVED them and to this day plays with then and drags them from place to place daily!

Christmas Day also happens to be Curt's birthday! Gabe and him have a very interesting, silly relationship and this gift he gave Curt says it all!

Jersey Girl

Hey everybody! I am seriously lacking on my posts..I have an overload to come but I just had to post something about our friend's recent loss of their sweet daughter. Good friends of ours, Chris and Heidi Anderson gave birth to their sweet little girl, Jersey about a month and a half ago. She was born with a serious heart condition and had many other complications once she was here on earth. She fought and fought and fought and completely surprised many people on how well she fought her rough battles and hung in there as long as she did. She touched the lives of so many people, it's amazing. Chris and Heidi were very good about keeping everybody well informed on what was going on in Jersey's life and though most of us ever really got to meet fer, we all feel like we knew her very well and were touched in many ways by the life she lived. They lost their little girl about a week ago and had a beautiful funeral for her on Friday that we were able to attend. I am so impressed with the strength of Chris and Heidi! Eventhough they are hurting on the inside, they have always done an amazing job at staying positive and being strong about their situation. If you are interested in reading about her story, you can check out their blog through mine. It is very moving and tear jerking I have to say. We love you Chris and Heidi and are deeply sorry for your loss. Jersey was a beautiful little girl and looked an awful lot like her adorable older siblings, Tatum and Tucker. You could definately tell she was an Anderson! We'll miss Jersey but will never forget about the life she lived and the legacy she left behind!

Christmas Eve 2008

We woke up to a very swollen and in mounds of pain Daddy! Brian had seen the dentist the day before and found out he needs two root canals out of the blue! He got scheduled for Monday but his antiobiotics hadn't kicked in so he was swollen! We had to bug the dentist on Christmas Eve to get pain med's that worked and up his dosage on the antibiotics! So needless to say, the day started off interesting. He stayed home and rested while I went with my Dad and siblings to his traditional lunch and last minute Christmas shopping at Scottsdale mall. Luckily I had my shopping done, but it's always fun to just be there together and in the spirit, eating a yummy lunch and finding neat things. We got home, got our presents together and headed over to my parents. We pulled into their neighborhood to find the traditional lumanaries lining the entire neighborhood in front of each house! Neasest tradition out there! We had a delicious dinner...take out from Rosa's and Mango's, along with my mom's homemade taco salad. We opened the gifts us siblings gave eachother and the grandkids. Every year we have a great time together! Thank you Mom and Dad for all your preparation and all my siblings for their wonderful and tothoughtful gifts to our family! Oh...and Brian was feeling much better my dinner!

Family Christmas Party

We went to the Jenning's family Christmas party, Tuesday night. The food was yummy, Santa came, the kids had a blast playing together, the adults had fun chattin away, Grandpa J did his traditional passing out of the Christmas envelopes...they spoiled us!!! It was fun as usual!
