She's on a roll!

There's nothing like a good bath and then going to bed! Peek-a-Boo!
Always on the go!
My little cheerleader in training! She has unbelievable balance! Between Daddy and Grandpa doing tricks with her she'll be ready for try-outs in no time!
Pre-front flip!
Anaston finally felt the need for a snuggle toy and will snuggle him while falling asleep! I thought she's never do this and of course it's Mickey!

My little lady!
This is Anaston after her napkin war with Grandma at Applebee's. She was tearing off pieces and throwing them to Grandma and cracking up as Grandma would throw it back. By the way, she's in a jacket because on the way over she had one of her sessions where she played with her sippy cup and drenched her shirt! This is all I had!
So serious!
Could it be?!? Is that my Mickey?
She's all smiles!

Anaston is keeping us on our toes and suprising us each day with everything she is learning. We are just having the time of our lives with her! She is full of energy and just loads of fun to watch and interact with! I am getting quite the work out trying to keep up with her! She does the funniest and cutest little things everyday! In just this past week, a few things that have stood out to me are...

1. The night my mom took me and Anaston out to Applebee's and Anaston was so hungry! As soon as she saw the waitor coming toward our table with food in his hand, she's so dang smart that she totally nderstood he was coming to give us our food! She got all excited and as I was cutting up her chicken for her, she could hardly wait! I look up and see her motioning with her hand to her mouth like she was feeding herself. It was so cute! She was pretendig to feed herself! She has kept this up throughout the week whenever I'm preparig her food she gets excited all over again and does her little thing of pretending to feed herself until I start feeding her.

2. Anaston loves me to give her the sippy cup in her car seat while we're driving and she'll take sips and let the water run all down her mouth, while making noses of blowing bubbles and talking/making noises with the water. It sounds so funny and he gets a kick out of herself doing it. Only problem, she's drenched afterwards!!!

3. One of her favorite past time right now is going over to Grandma and Grandpa's and having Grandpa take her in the backyard and play with their dog, Max. She LOVES him! He is the most energetic dog you've ever seen but they have become quite close, he'll settle down for and lt her hold him and just give him hugs and kisses! He wont even let me do that! Any time she see's Grandpa, she reaches for him and says,"Ma?"(Max), meaning take me to see Max. They could spend forever together out there playing with the dog and playing ball with eachother. Grandpa is coaching her and she already has quite the technique with throwing and catching the ball. She loves the game, could I expect anything else considering the families she comes from? She also loves when he lays on the ground and picks her up and does front flips and back flips with her. I can't believe this doesn't scare her! She sure trusts him!

4. Anaston now has 7 teeth! Two new ones this week! That makes three on top and four on bottom! Poor thing! All seven teeth in only a three month period!

5. She loves taking things out of boxes, bowls, cupboards or whatever and handing them to me one by one as I count them. Then we put them all back and start over.

6. She loves to give kisses and share! When you ask for kisses and a hug she gives you the sweetest kiss and big bear hug, it melts my heart. Any time she's eating, she wants to share it with whoever is with her. You never know though, sometimes she wants you to really eat it and other times she's just teasing and will pull it away and laugh just before you bite it! Smartie!

7. Anaston loves to play peek a boo with you and to run from you as you chase her. I used to be the one playing peek a boo with her. Now she does it to me, I love it. I'll say,"I'm gonna get you!" And she screams and takes off crawling super fast while cracking up and occasionally looks over her shoulder to see how close I am till she's worn out and will just lay flat on the floor and laugh . I absolutely love it!

I have been a little sad these last few weeks, as I have realized Anaston has finally made the transiton from a baby into a little girl but she's making it easier on me every day with this new phase. She is just so much fun!

Trick or TREAT?!!! (Halloween 2007)

Me and my perfect little TinkerbellHappy Halloween! The gang passing out our candy...Mom, Jordan, Shane, Dad

My adorable little pumpkin

Anaston's first Halloween was sure a hit, or should I say she was the big hit?!? I couldn't have asked for things to go better, the day and night went better than I expected! (Thanks to my sweet little girl) For lunch, we picked Brian up and went to this cutest little pumpkin patch out here. We had fun playing around there and picked out a couple perfect little pumpkins! Anaston loved playing in the hay between the pumpkins and just being outside in the nice weather. I was a little nervous for the evening. She didn't nap very good so I thought she'd be tired and cranky...who was I kidding?!? She took a cat nap on the way over to Grandma's so she was ready to go! She was a little unsure about the costume once we put her wings on, at first, but as soon as we walked out the door to Trick-or-Treat, she was having so much fun she forgot about them! She was all about Trick-or Treating, she was eatin it up! She loved going to each house and seeing the people there. She would pick out her own candy and toys. Everyone was giving out awesome stuff in this neighborhood, it was great! She would talk like crazy to each person and get so excited when she saw the other kids. She put a show on at every house. My favorite ones were her reactions to picking out her candy and then after Grandpa introducd her to her very first sucker(very first piece of candy actually), she went nuts and was wanting to share it with me. But since she was so excited and who knows, maybe on a suger high, she would come at my face with full force with the sucker to feed it to me, it was hilarious! It looked like she was gonna stab me or somethin! Everyone was dying! Anaston was the cutest little Tinkerbell there ever was! She put the actual Tinkerbell to shame! We stayed out for quite a while, Anaston did not want it to end! She filled up her little pumpkin Grandpa bought for her, part of the Boo sack from Grandma, and the majority of the inside of Grandma's witch hat!!! We've got candy, pop corn and play dough to last us a while! My mom made her traditional chili and bread, which is the best chili on this planet, it kicks serious butt! Anaston fell in love with the corn bread! On the way home, we stopped by Poppa's house so he could see Anaston and what do you know, she put on another show! Poppa let her see the basket of candy he had filled to the top and she had the time of her life pulling each piece out and chucking it! Also, shaking the ones that were boxes and made a noise! We were all cracking up! Nat finally made it just before I changed her but Anaston was done at that point! She wanted out of the costume and into her PJ's. She crashed out on the way home and slepped great! It was a perfect Halloween for my sweet little Anaston! I'm so glad she loved it!

ATTN: BUMBO RECALL!!!!

Sunday afternoon, my dad was telling me about the very serious recall for ALL bumbo seats for babies. I got really concerned because I know many of my friends anf family have these and use them frequently, as they have recently become a little fad. We decided to not purchase one of these and now I am very lucky to have made that decision! I'm encouraging anybody with children, especially those of you who have these bumbo seats to read up on the recall! You can read the recall info on http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml08/08046.html . Here is an axact copy off thae website that really freaked me out: Hazard: If the seat is placed on a table, countertop, chair, or other elevated surface, young children can arch their backs, flip out of the Bumbo seat, and fall onto the floor, posing a risk of serious head injuries.
Incidents/Injuries: CPSC has received 28 reports of young children falling out of the Bumbo Baby Sitter seat, including three skull fractures, which occurred when children fell out of chairs that had been placed on tables.

I just have to share these!

I couldn't help myself, I had to do a small post on some hilarious pic's of Anaston. She is constantly dping the cutest and funniest things very day! Something that really makes me feel good and is so true is that people every day over and over, wherever we are just talk about how adorable she is and such a gorgeous baby! They can't get over how smart she is and what an amazing personality she has! It really stands out! She;'s unique, not like any baby. I am so proud! Anaston will just sit and carry on a conversation with you, it's so fun. She understands the world so much now and points things out all day and talks abut them. She is such a little tease. I love her so much and the smiles and laughter she gives me repeatedly each day! Cutest fishy face I've ever seen!
Nat e mailed these two to me. This night, I gave her a taste of my Dilly Bar. She was not about to let me have it back at all! Needless to say, a very messy and oh so cute face! Notice the Ace Ventura hair in this pic and the one below. When I take her iggies out at night, this is what I get. I just love it!

Good time at Grammy and Grampy's

On Sunday, Brian, Anaston and I woke up and went woth my family to Stake Conference. Afterwards, we got something to eat and I have a great story about this! Anaston was supposed to go down for a nap at 11, 12 the very latest! She was just so excited to see everyone she was not about to sleep! She literally fought it to the last second. She's in her high chair at lunch just laughin, playin and eatin(let me remind you it's almost 1:30, two hours late for her first nap) when all of a sudden, I look over and her eyes are rolling in the back of her head! She was acting like all drugged or something, swaying, about to drop her head on the table and pass out. Brian and I freaked! We thought she couldn't breathe or had an allergic reaction or something. Nope, just DEAD TIRED!!! I quickly grabbed her and within 0.5 seconds she was GONE on my shoulder! We have never seen her do anything like this, it was crazy! I'm usually really consistent with her naps, I didn't know she could get like that if she missed a nap! This resulted in an almost four hour nap at Grandma's!!! She was alot of fun that night, as usual. Here's some pic's to show... Anaston attacking me!
But then she settled down and let me just love her!
Aunt Jade trying out her Halloween wig...Anaston loved it!
Anaston really had a thing for Grandpa on Sunday. They had so much fun bonding, playing ball back and forth, playing with Max, etc.
Getting into the cupboards!
This is her new thing! Loves to be on Daddy's shoulders and even more so, leaning down to give him some smooches!
Playin with Daddy's face
Daddy was spraying Anaston with a water bottle, she thought it was great! She was cracking up!

My Own Authentic Mickey Mouse!

My sister Jaymee went with her fiance's family to Florida a couple weeks ago and she brought back this authentic, original stuffed Mickey Mouse for Anaston. She went NUTS! We woke up from a long nap at Grandma's after stake conference to this little suprise. Anaston was all smiles, she was giving him a bunch of kisses and would not let him go! This was the perfect gift, Anaston just loves Mickey!

Look What I Found!

The other day, I was at my mom's and whenever Anaston is in her kitchen, she loves to crawl around and open each cupboard and pull out everything inside. She does this at home too of course! Well she discovered a new cupboard this day...all the cups! After taking them all out and going through them, she picked three. One of course with Mickey and Minnie on it, the other a very colorful cup and then this one...a care bear cup with a straw. I look over to her suckin away hoping to get a little treat! It was hilarious! She has loves sipping through a straw since she was like 5 months! Amazing!
