Gifts from the heart

The past few weeks Anaston and I have recieved some meaningful gifts and I just wanted to say thanks and talk about a few of them.

Jaymee and Chris went to Disneyworld with Chris' family and brought this Happy Birthday Authentic Mickey back for Annie. It's the perfect find for her. She is obsessed with singing the birthday song, loves birthday parties and more than anything loves Mickey of course! It's really cute and even plays Happy Birthday when you press on the cake. She loves it and carries it everywhere.

When we moved out of our Queen Creek house, Brian was taking a load over to my parents and Anaston's high chair seat blew out of the back of his truck! I looked so hard to try and find it but I guess someone else got lucky! Brian's parents had a high chair so that held us over for a while but ever since we've been here, she just sits on her picnic table to eat and it's not working so well. She gets distracted and walks around and soesn't eat as good...and she's spilling on the carpet and floors, making it so hard to keep clean all the time. My mom suprised me with another high chair seat, even nicer than the one we had before and it saved me! Annie loves her new chair and will just sit in it so good and eat, play with toys, watch a show..whatever, just like she used to. It even converts into a booster and will last a LONG time! So thoughtful..thanks mom, you're the best!:)

I was at m parents one night, kinda having a rough night and my sweet neice, Brooklyn went and hid in another room for a while and made this sweet drawing for me. She wrote the sweetest things on it and it completely turned my night around. She is such a tender heart and doesn'l like seeing anyone she loves sad. I love you Brooklyn!

Speaking of pictures, the other day I was doing a client's hair out in Queen Creek and my mom took Annie for me. When I got back and walked in, Annie was just finishing up this sticker pisture for me. My mom said she worked on it for quite a while and was very particular about the stickers she chose for me and how she arranged them. She was so excited to give it to me and tell me what each sticker is. It was so sweet, I love it. It meant alot to me.

We got Anaston this Dora and Boots bubble machine for Valentine's. It's too cute. It's an automatic machine that blows bubbles out Dora's mouth. The best part is Boots' tail lifts up and when the loop from his tail is in front of her mouth, the bubbles are blown. Annie asks me many times throughout the day to turn it on and loves to play in the bubbles and dance around in them. It was definatly a hit with her!

1. My niece, London has carried around this cute little baby ever since she was tiny. It's actually a TY beanie BABY and hard to come by now a days. Annie loves it and is always trying to take it from her unfortunately. JaNae was able to get her hands on one, which is actually the baby's brother and gave it to Annie along with her Valentine. She is so excited to have her own! She carries it everywhere and sleeps with it and keeps reminding me that it IS Annie's baby! Somedays she says it's a boy and other days, she takes his shorts off and puts a dress on it and says is't a girl. It's really funny!

2. My mother and father in law gave Annie this Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Valentine book and che carries that thing around everywhere! She reads it ten times a day, I swear and has already made up her own little story to it when she reads it to herself, although she loves having us read it to her to and hands us the book and says "Read It!"

3. B suprised me and got my wedding ring and band re-dipped last week. We were over due for that but it made it that much better when I got them back. They look brand spankin new, just like when I got them. Not one fault! So shiny and sparkly again! Now the trick is keeping them that way, doing hair and being a mom!
I love giving gifts. It is so exciting picking it out for the right person and seeing their reaction when you give it to them. It's the greatest feeling. We appreciate every gift that comes our way.

Anaston update...this is a long one!

I've been compiling a list now for like a month of new, funny or cute things Annie is up to and it's time to share!

1.She's been in her big girl Dora bed for a couple months now and I STILL can't get used to how funny/weird it is to have her just come walking out of her room. She always turns off her shell before she leaves her room, grabs the stuffed animals, blankie and passies she slept with that night, and waddles to my bedside or wherever I am and says Hi Mommy!

2. Randomly throughout the day, Annie goes in her room, lays out all of her babies and sometimes stuffed animals on the floor and covers each of them with blankies...yes, all of them...turns off the lights, turns on her shell, shuts the door and tells me Shhh! Babies are sleeping! She also periodically goes back in her room quietly to check on them till she decides it's time for them to wake up!

3. She loves to pretend to make food and drinks at her kitchen and then feed them to her babies and make this Num Num Num sound effect like they're really eating.

4. She loves to play doctor on me. She grabs her doctor kit and tells me to sit and uses each item on me. Then says ok Mommy do it to Annie. It's so cute.

5. If you tell her to count for you, she willingly does so. She loves to count and can count all the way to 16! At first, she used to have a hard time saying seven so she would always skip it, it was so funny but she's got it now. She even knows some of the numbers in spanish! She also knows all her colors and most her shapes, it's really amazing to listen to.

6. She's in the Annie do it stage! She'll even tell me, Mommy go away, stop Mommy, or mommy out if I'm around when she's trying to do something herself!

7. Anaston's favorite thing to do is read. So many times throughout the day, she goes in her room, pulls her chair up next to her bookcase or sits on the groung and pulls out books to read. She could stay in there all day. She reads to herself and will call me in there and point next to her and say, "Mommy, sit...read it please." She carries her books with her everywhere around the house and anytime we leave the house she picks a few to bring to read on the road. I love it. She learns alot from her books.

8. She runs to her window in awe whenever she hears the garbage man. She loves how big the truck is and loves to watch it in action. She calls him the "fro-dee man". I think she gets that from whenever I tell her to throw something away in the garbage she says,"Ok, put it in the Fro-dee." it's so funny. I think she's trying to say throw it away but this just seems easier.

9. Anytime she spills, she goes and grabs a kitchen towel and wipes it up and sings"Peen Up, Peen Up." She likes to clean so much sometimes she spills on purpose just so she can clean it. We just got her a little broom and vacuum for her age so she can help me and whenever she see's me grab my broom or vacuum, she runs and grabs hers and says Annie help!

10.I love how she says broken...more like "bwo-keen" Anytime somethings not working right, she says, uh oh, it's bwo-keen!

11. She'll tell me when she wants to eat and says I want eat! She knows the difference in the meals and my favorite is how she says lunch...it's "hunch."

12. She is very aware of her surroundings. Whener we are out and about, she knows just where we're headed long before we get there according to streets, signs, stores or landmarks. It's insane! I'm horrible with directions, she must get it from her Dad! Even if it's a place we've only been once and a long time ago! She loves to point out any park and each of her Grandparents houses especially!

13. She runs from me whenever I'm coming to change her diaper or brush her teeth and says,"Mommy comin!" and buries herself in whoever is around to save her, or I'll find her hiding on the other side of my bed in a head stand, with her little booty straight up in the air so "I can't see her." The only place she likes me to change her anymore is on her bed, as long as she can read a book while I do it.

14. She is still progressing on potty training. She had all the signs around Christmad and we started trying, though a little young and she did great for a week or two. But she regressed a little once we were talking about the baby. I got great advice from my doc and have just decided to let her decide when she wants to use the potty. I'm in no hurry right now. Every day atleast once she's uses the potty but it's not a full itme thing yet.

15. She loves to tell stories about things that happened to her and get's very animated and uses her hands alot. I love it. Also, when you tell her something she's looking foward to or somewhere we're going, she'll repeat it back to you just how you told her for confirmation.

16. Anaston loves to dance and sing. She's a natural! A good voice and good dance moves! She catches on very quick to lyrics. We started realizing a couple months back that she knows alot of the words to many different songs on the radio that we tend to listen to and will sing slong. She now knows every word to too many of them, we can hardly believe it listening to her. She mostly likes to sing with the songs but she will sing the I Love You song from Barney word for word on her own. Its' adorable. We have great video's of it of course. Our favorite song on the radio she sings is Akon "Right Now."She'll also sing Rihanna "Disturbia", Rihanna "Live Your Life", Brittney Spears"Womanizer", Beyonce "Single Ladies","Kanye West "heartless", TI "Whatever You Like", Josh Gracin "Unbelievable" and a few more. And everytime any one of the songs she knows and likes comes on, she yells,"This is Mommy, Annie's song!" and gets all excited and sings and dances.

17. Says O-een for open.

18. She'll hand me her pink passies every now and then and tell me, no I want green P! She prefers the green ones cuz they're softer but I'm proud to say she is down to just using it for when she falls asleep! (Or when she sneakingly finds one..ha ha)

19. She's very good at using her please and thank you's, it's really sweet.

20. She does the mambo form Dora. Our favorite is when she does the "wiggle your hips"...she looks so cute doing it.

21. She walks around the house singing the Happy Birthday song perfectly and at the end acts like she's blowing out the candle. She'll even use things for props like it's the candle.

22. She sings twinkle twinkle along with us while we sing to her at night. She picks who she wants to put her to bed each night and it's pretty 50/50!

23. She loves to re-inact the suprise for Boot's suprise party on Dora and invites you to do it with her, crouches down in a ball and jumps up and yells suprise!

24. Some funny little things she has picked up on..."Oh gosh" "Oh sup fweak(freak)" "Hey Dude" "Hi hunny" "Shake ya booty!" "Yes-ie" in response to anything she answers in yes. "Oh sick...stinks like poop"(her reaction to a stinky smell)

25.She loves to pretend dial someone on her phone and counts to ten like it's their phone number and then will go off on a make believe conversation with whoever sh is calling at the moment. She's usually calling "wa-ma", Nae Nae, Dad, Jade, Jaymee, Brooklyn and London, Gavin or Ellee. She'll carry around her camera too and have people pose for her and say cheese so she can take a picture of you.

26.She can be a little crazy. She tries to climb on everything and jump off of everything!

27.She'll copy an entire prayer now. She loves to say prayer and will say everything you tell her to. It's so sweet.

28. She loves listening to the Primary songbook on CD in the car. It's her favorite. She finds comfort in it. She sings I Am A Child Of God. She calls it the babies! "I want to hear the babies"

29. She tells me she has a baby in her belly too and loves to talk with me and tell me the thngs she's going to do to help with baby like diapers, wipes, bottle, etc.

30. Daddy taught her one day and now She loves to blow on our bellies and does it really good and really loud! She'll even do it to her babies and tickle them.

31. She loves to make believe with her dol house, kitchen, babies and barbies.

32. She dances and says "Shake ya Booty" and shakes it. It's so cute.

33. Anaston has learned that if she hides and says she's going poop then we'll leave her alone. So now she uses that to her advantage and when there's something she wants to get into, she'll shut the door and hide in that room andtell you she's going poop but really just wants you to leave her alone so she can get into whatever...usually my purse or gum or "lipies"(chapstick). I figured that one out pretty quick.

34. My mom will laugh sometimes when we're over there cuz Anaston just turns into a nervous wreck. She loves to be there and there's so much to do and see and she just goes wild so my mom would say, Annie is a nervous wreck! Pretty soon Annie started saying it with her and now my mom will just say "Annie is a..." and she chimes in and says "nervous wreck!" It's really funny!

35. Anaston likes to sing along with the theme songs of the shows she likes. And then when the shows over or we have to turn it off for the day, she kisses everybody goodbye and says all their names. ha ha

The Showdown

Ok so...who watched America's Best Dance Crew last night and was BLOWN AWAY?!! Last night's elimination determined who moves on head to head for the finale next week. At this point I can NOT choose! This is my first year watching this show faithfully and from the beginning these have been my two favorite dance crews. So America DID get it right in my opinion but now whoever wins I will be very happy for and very sad for who doesn't. They are both incredibly talented groups AND this is the FIRST time a FEMALE dance crew has made it this far in the history of this show! Pretty amazing! Even if you don't watch this show, you should tune in next Thursday just to be entertained by some incredible dancing! Good luck to both crews!

Very late birthday post

My birthday was about a month and a half ago now but I forgot to bring my camera out that night of all nights so luckily my friends Heidi and Posey both brought theirs and were kind enough to take pictures. I had a great day...couldn't have been any better. My mom made breakfast for me at her house that morning so we ate over there and had the chance to say goodbye to my grandparents who were leaving back to Utah that day.:( Brian suprised me with the jeans I'd been DYING to get and a cute shirt to go with! Also some software for my computer that I wanted...yeah! Good job babes! Annie was a doll and treated me so well like she knew it was my day and even have me a nice long back tickle! My mom watched Annie while we went to Olive Garden(mmm, love it) with a few of our good friends...Brian did all the planning, it was kinda a suprise. Then we headed out to go bowling and my sister Jade was able to join us. It was so much fun! It was a perfect birthday!... Since this was the first birthday that actually sounded a litle old to me...it was a perfect distraction to that thought. Thanks to all who participated in making my day so special and memorable. And thank you SOOO much for the overwhelming amount of phone calls and texts. It really meant alot to me.

Chad, Brian, me, Posey, Ben, Heidi and Clay at Olive Garden
Me and my special delivery chocolate cake!
Me and my hunny who pulled the whole thing together:)
So proud of my AWFUL bowling! ha ha I'm not any good and don't really try to be, but I sure have fun doing it!
Me and Jadey pie
Too cool
The battle was mainly between Posey and Jade. Posey was feeling a little defeated at this point.
Oh and I HAVE to mention all three guys that bowled(Brian, Clay and Ben) all did amazing and all three got turkey's right in a row in the same game. It was the most unbelieveable thing I'd ever seen!

REGIONAL CHAMPS!!!

Last night I attended the most amazing game I've ever been to in Jordan's toro basketball career! They have been doing AWESOME this season and last night's victory determined the regional champ so it was intense. We pkayed Red Mountain...a very tough competition this year. They've beat us, we've beat them. I had no idea what would happen but of course had all my hope for the Toro's! I walk in, during the second quarter and we are trailing by 15! At one point almost twenty. We caught up a little better and were down 6 or 8 at half. The rest of the game we trailed by 6-13 points and all of a sudden had a remarkable flip at the end of the game and Charlie Meo swished a 3 to tie the game with one second left and we went into OT! The Toro's DOMINATED over time and we ended beating them by like 8 points! Jordan did awesome, especially in OT! The whole team did great and we are so proud! We made awesome signs(pic's coming later). Jordan made the all state team! Congrats Toro's! You deserve it!

Well let me tell ya' 'bout my best friend!

Anaston and I are bestest buddies. We are together every day all day and have loads of fun together! There is never a dull moment with her! I Love my little Annie so much and am so thankful for her in my life!
Always sneaking to try Mommy's shoes on
Always being a nut
Gotta love her silly faces
And cheesy smiles
Can't get over her PERFECT TEETH!!! We always say let me see your perfect teeth and she does this big smile for us. Her two front teeth are the whitest, straighest teeth you've ever seen! It almost looks impossible! I've never seen such persect teeth on a kid! They're perfectly square, not all rounded and awkward, NO GAPS, and so white...I don't get it! Especially for a girl who loves her passy so much but hey, I'll take it! It cracks me up.
Such a pretty little girl
And silly two seconds later
"Annie's bottle"...she still likes to make me play baby Annie with her and give her the bottle she had in the hospital as a new infant and hold her like a baby. It's hilarious. She even does this little baby talk.

Sneaking chips in her room of course! That is her little hideout!
Girl's night! My mom bought Annie a new Dora movie and rented her a few others and got us a bucket of popcorn so we got blankies and stuffed animals and watched the movies and had popcorn! It was a blast!
Our little set up
The end!

Valentines '09

Valentine's was a great day this year! We got up that morning and headed to my mom's. She made heart shaped pancakes and bacon! YUM! She had delicious cinnamon rolls too! We passed out our Valentine's to everyone...it's really neat, every year my family still all trades Valentine's with eachother! Annie had so much fun putting her Vaneltine's together the night before and was so particular about which color treat and which card and sticker she gave each person, it was too cute! She had sparkly Dora velentine cards that Daddy picked out for her and Fun Dip that I found to pass out. She got alot of nice things form everyone else as well! We just played all day and then my mom watched Anne for Brian and I while we went out to dinner at Outback. It 's a long story how we ended up there but I'm glad we did! It was delicious and alot of fun! Brian gave me a really sweet card that actually made me cry this year!

Annie giving Jade kisses:)
Jade and Anaston

Annie and mommy before my hot date! ha ha

Anaston biting into her marshmallow sucker form Jade...such a great idea and definately hit the spot with Anaston!
My mom hand made her cards(they were adorable)...this is Annie with her card from "Wa-ma" and the bag of assorted salt water taffy she gave her...sooooo good! She shared with mommy:)...eventhough I had some TO DIE FOR taffy all to myself from my mom! ha

Unfortunately, Annie's other Grandma and Papa were out of town on Valentine's so we didn't get to see them but her Grandma did send a really sweet package in the mail to her! A Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Valentine's book with stickers, a sweet Mickey card and a sucker! She loved every bit of it and was very greatful. She left Grandma the sweetest message on her phone that night thanking her. She is still carrying around that book every day!

Spontaneous Weekend Getaway!:)

Two weekends ago, Brian had a 2 day tournament way out in Phoenix. We came along this time and made a little weekend trip out of it! It was an absolute blast! We drove out Friday late afternoon and went to the ball games at Rio Vista. We stayed in a hotel that night, which was really nice and we really enjoyed! We watched Four Christmases finally! ha ha It was alright. Anaston LOVED the hotel! She had a blast there! She thought it was so neat to stay in a hotel for the night! The next morning we headed out to a game and grabbed lunch. Anaston and I had the opportunity to go to The Wildlife World Zoo next while Brian continued to play. It was the neatest zoo I've been to so far! It was a nice breezy, cloudy day so the weather was beautiful and there were so many neat animals to see! The whole atmosphere was really neat and alot nicer looking than other zoo's...kinda exotic. They have recently built on three huge aquarium rooms to walk through so we got to see that as well and it was incredible! I LOVE aquariums! Anaston LOVED the zoo and the aquarium. They even had rides there! A log ride, fairy boat ride, etc! It started to rain as we were leaving so it all panned out perfect! During B's last game, Anaston and I grabbed dinner at the NICEST McDonald's I'd ever seen! Leather couches...did not look anything like one! Then we cozied up in the car in the parking lot and watched Dora till Dad finished and drove home and slept like bears! B had the best hitting game of his life! I'll have to put his exact stat's down later. It was a great weekend! Thanks babe!

Rio Vista is an amazing park! There is the fields of course, a Starbucks, a HUGE gym, a splash pad, duck ponds and the hugest park I've ever seen with a giant covered barbeque are that was the nicest thing I've ever seen. Anaston was in heaven!
Wee!!!
Silly face!
Good morning, sunshine!
Of course we had to start at the petting zoo...Anaston goes nuts feeding those animals and they all flock around her and follow her everywhere! She's little miss Mary Poppins!
We were amazed by the giraffes and even got to go up on this dock thing and fee them and feel their long, black, sticky tongues! It was really neat!

As we were walking away, we saw a Daddy, Mommy and baby I'm assuming, walking out. It looked so neat!

Anaston loved how funny looking camels are! ha ha

This was one of her favorite stops...the zebra's!
I am always amazed by the flamingo's...they are gorgeous!

Annie had a front row seat and was talking to them! ha ha
My beautiful little girl:)
This poor rhino looked EXHAUSTED! it took a double take to make sure he was alive!

The monkey's were INSANE!!!

Anaston's other favorite was the tiger's. She was begging me to see them the entire time!

Anaston's first time holding a starfish! We also pet sting rays!

This crazy looking turtle is a dinosaur turtle! It was the most amuzing thing to watch!
You can't really see us here but I love the way the aquarium looks!
Annie amd the aquarium
Anaston and I at the aquarium

We were lucky enough to catch the penguins smoochin! Just in time for Valentine's! ha ha

How cool is this shot? We had really good timing!
Don't think I'd ever seen an albino crocidile before!
That's all folks!
