Happy 2nd Birthday, Anaston!!!

Happy Birthday, Annie girl!!!!

How did my perfect little baby... turn into this adorable little girl so quickly?!?

Happy Birthday Anaston! Annie is two today and I can hardly believe it! The normal Jessica wanted to post a million pictures from the last two years but I decided to surprise you all and make this short and sweet! I want to spend this special day with my little girl...not on the computer! ha ha... It's been a bittersweet last month or so realizing the huge changes in Annie. She is such a big girl now, it makes me very emotional when I think about it and how fast the time has gone but I know it's all part of life. Anaston is at such a fun age right now, we just can't get enough of her and the cute and funny little things she is constantly doing and saying. There is no shortage of love and laughter at our house with Annie around! You can't help but fall in love with our little girl whenever you're around her! She is sweet, thoughtful, loving, caring, such a character, hilarious, so smart, beautiful, talented, loves to have fun, friendly, outgoing, thankful and steals your heart. There is nobody like Annie and we are so thankful to be her parents. We lucked out! She brings endless amounts of joy to us everyday and touches the lives of many others! Thank you for choosing us to be your parents Tinks, we love you with all our heart!

My latest OBSESSION...

My latest obsession?...drumroll... It's Ocean Blue Frozen Yogurt! Ever since the grand opening a few weeks ago at the Dana Park location, my mom and I stopped in to try it after dinner and I am ADDICTED! It's kinda a problem! I am a LOYAL Mesa's and Golden Spoon customer..I've been addicted to Mesa's since I was like 6! And this yogurt puts both of them to shame! You will not see me anywhere else for yogurt! It's the healthiest out there..can't argue with that! You have GOT to try it! There's one on Val Vista and Baseline in Dana Park or Greenfield and Brown. The California Tart and Creamy Tart with fruit, mint truffle and lime sorbet are a few of my favorites. My explanation doesn't even do it justice! I am there just about every day! You HAVE to go try it! (Michelle, this is post is for you...I knew you'd love this and are probabbly falling off your seat laughing at me right now)

Only The Crazy's Come Out At Midnight!

Are you wondering why you are looking at my blog and there is something about Twilight? I KNOW RIGHT?!!! A couple weeks ago, my friends were buying tickets for the midnight showing of Twilight. Posey encouraged me to come even though I hadn't read the books seeing that it was going to be a good movie anyway and it would be a fun girls night so I thought what the heck! I used to love the rush of going to midnight premieres of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, etc so I took the plunge. The best part is I even bought the first book and started reading it a few days before the movie and I HATE READING!!! Posey should be very proud. The book is good. I still don't see why some people are out of control about it but I think it's funny to watch those them! But I did love the movie! I have ADD when I read and my mind wanders. I don't have a huge imagination when I read so the movie is always better for me! We ate at Pei Wei, showed up at 8:45 to stand in a line that wrapped around the entire outside of the San Tan movie theater for about 45 minutes. Then we got into out assigned theater and chilled for close to three hours but don't you worry, it was FUN! It was fun acting like kids again for a few hours. The Dr Pepper, chewy sweethearts and popcorn kept us going. It was a blast.(Sara got called into work right before we left...so sad...we missed you Sara!)

Some fellow vampires that we fell in love cuz of their amazing bite marks Counting down the 3 hours in our seats

Three musketeers

Bladder surgery one day earlier...what a trooper!!!

Don't mind me pushing out my chest, I needed a good shot of my shirt!
Posey's shirt wins the award! She had stalkers following her in the theater in love with her shirt!
Our shirts were THE hit!!! Props to Posey who designed them and Amy for the twilight font!

Trick or Treat...Annie looked oh so sweet!

Annie was the cutest Minnie Mouse you've ever seen for Halloween this year! I got this adorable idea online and made it myself with a little guidance from a very talented friend! I have to say I was really pleased with how it turned out! Annie loved wearing it all 3 times...at Disneyland's trick or treat party, her friend Sundee's first birthday(she was born on Halloween so they had her party a couple days before) and then Halloween itself. We started the afternoon off by going to Brian's work party. It turned out really cute and fun! They gave the cutest little princess bags out to the kids that one of hhis co worker's wives made. We played fun Halloween games and chatted. We did my parents traditonal ward party and yummy chili at my mom's at night. Took Annie trick or treating which she couldn't get enough of! Every house she'd just yell Treat Please! and then would say Thank You...bu-bye! It was too cute! She loved running to the door to help my mom pass out candy. We made stops by Annie's other grandparents and both great grandparents on that side too! It was a really fun night! It was most fun just watching how much fun Annie was having!

This was at the end of the night at Grandma and Papa's.
Annie starting her trick or treating adventure! She had to hit up grandma first!
Jade and Mike as trolls. Loved it!

My mom's best friend's grand daughter was minnie mouse as well! And there little boy was Mickey...so cute! We had fun trick or treating with them!

Jaymee looked awesome too! Poor Chris got sick that night!

Gotta have girl's nights!

Recently I've had a few girl's nights. I love them! I love being a mom and a wife but you still need your girl's nights a few times a month. It's always so good to see everyone and always a blast! I love my girlies!

The girl's at BJ's.(I went ahead and left out the picture I snuck of Beth, since she was being all anti on the pic and all. I guess the gesture to the camera was a little blog inappropriate! ha ha)

State Fair 2008

We went to the State Fair with Brain's family this year, It was alot of fun! I used to love going to the fair in my single days with my friends cuz my parents were never big state fair fans. We went like twice growing up and that was cuz there was really good concerts to see! So I hadn't been in like 3 or 4 years! Fron the Indian fry bread and funnel cakes to scary rides that I thought were gonna fall apart any moment and drop me on my head, it was all good! Am I getting old?!? I have ALWAYS been the ultimate dare devil! Since I was like 6! And I found myself scared on a few rides! I guess things change when you have kids. Annie did pretty good. Loved being there with everyone and liked some rides but HATED the giant slide I took her on! Poor thing! Maybe next year! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Emma and Matthew(I borrowed some of these from my mother in laws blog..thanks!)
Anaston, me, Jason and Kinsley at the end of the scary BIG slide! Notice Anaston screaming! It was so sad.

The Happiest Place On Earth!

We were lucky enough to be able to go with my entire family on a once in a lifetime kind of a vacation to Disneyland in the beginning of October. Still to this day, I thoink about our trip atleast once a day and miss it SOOOO much! Anaston had the time of her life! She was such a trooper the entire trip, everyone was just amazed! She had the best attitude about everything and was just so easy going. She adapted well, slept amazing and lived each day there to the fullest! Her first day at Disneyland took no longer than an hour or so to be totally fine with the characters. She was amazed by them! She loves them! She would just stare at them in awe and give them high fives and kisses. She thanked them everytime they would sign her autograph book, it was the sweetest thing! She LOVED the Disneyland parade, danced around the whole time and was in a trance! She did great on most rides...wasn't a fan of Alice In Wonderland but seriously, that is NOT a kid's ride! I agree, it's got scary stuff! She loved the rest though! The Mickey's Trick or Treat Party was probabbly the highlight of the trip if I HAD to pick one! Cutest stations set up all around California Adventures! We got WAY TOO MUCH candy than we knew what to do with, trick or treating and it was GOOD candy and snacks! The Halloween spirit there was just the best feeling! We met SO mant characters, more than I could even post! Anaston saw ALL her favorites! The food was AMAZING, the rides were A BLAST, it was SO much fun being with everyone! Our hotel was SO NICE and right across from Disneyland...huge plus! The beach was super windy but still super fun! Downtown Disney was A BLAST! So much to see! Both the road trips were a bunch of fun! I could go on and on and on! Thank you Mom and Dad for making this trip possible and EVERYTHING you did for all of us and the kids! You spoiled them and they LOVED it! This trip, cheesy as it may sound, was magical...and honestly a trip of a lifetime! The pic's are out of order so start form the bottom and work your way up, starting at day one. There are a milion pictures but this IS my journal so I couldn't leave too much out! We went Wednesday to Sunday but that included driving so all the main action happened Thursday and Friday(Disneyland and California Adventures), and Saturday(Beach, lunch with realatives in Newport and Downtown Disney). ENJOY!!!
