Battle of the David's

So here we are...the finals! Next week is the finale on American Idol and the two contestants couldn't have been any more predictable! I think everyone knew it would be the David's! Yeah! I love Syesha though...she is AMAZING!!! Poor girl! K this seriously is SO hard but at this point I have to pick 1 and I have! It's simple. It's a singing compitition. Hands down, David Archuleta has the better voice. I love his innocence. His voice is unbelieveable! But David Cook has the whole package for being a star! He's a great rocker, great voice, etc. I have chosen David A but I will be fine with either one! There's pro's and con's to both! They will both get record deals so it doesn't really matter but I am worried about David A's innocence in the corrupt industry! But like I said, it is a SINGING compitition, despite what the stupid judges say and I think David A has the better and more solid vocals. They are both awesome and I would but both their CD"S! I'm excited for next week!

Mother's Day...better late than never!!!

Mother's Day was amazing! I am so blessed to be a mom and especially to a perfect daughter for me...Anaston. I am thankful everyday for the chance to be a mother and to have this special spirit in my life. She is the light and love of my life! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect daughter! So many people contributed to make this day so special for me. It is nice to have one day a year that you are singled out and acknowledged for all we as mother's do. I know there are many days as mom's where we feel inadequate when in fact we have the most important jobs out there! I am so greatful to have the number one example of a super mom! My mom is truly amazing! She has the kindest heart and best personality! She is the easiest person to talk to in the world and always has the best advice! My mom is closer to the Lord than anyone I know, it is very admirable! She seriously is the most Christlike person! She is not judge mental. She always thinks positive and talks positively. She puts up with alot and is a very strong woman. She's beautiful. She's so fun to be around and has a great sense of humor! She is the most selfless person and is always thinking of others before herself...sometimes too much and we have to MAKE her treat herself for all the hard work she puts up with. I don't know amyone who loves their kids so much and would do ANYTHING for them! Thank you mom for holding my hand and showing me the way and every day keeping me on track and doing my best to follow your example for raising Anaston. I love you! I also would like to make a shout out to my mother in law who I also am greatful for. She is so helpful and does alot for us! She has a kind heart and loves her kids. We love you!Brian, Anaston, my mom and mother in law suprised me with a brand new camera I have been obsessing over for the last few months. I have been dying for a professional photographer type camera and this is the perfect one! The quality is incredible! I am so excited!!! I also got some yummy See's candy, a purse, a scrapbooking gift card, a really cute frame and many really sweet cards. We went to church with my parents. Sacrament meeting was really nice. My sister in law, Natalie and her hubby Tommy invited our family and her parents to her house for lunch which was delicious! She did a great job! My sister, Jade prepared the Mother's Day dinner at my parents and it was amazing. She went above and beyond. It was so pretty and very nice. Oh and did I say yummy? Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this a very special day for me! I love my sweet Anaston more than anyone will ever understand. Thank you for choosing me to be your Mommy, Anaston! I hope I am everything you expected! Love you sweetheart!

The quilt for my mom
My dad suprised my mom with this quilt pictured above. My grandma(her mother) passed away two years ago and she was able to keep all the cute little dresses she wore everyday. She kept them in a bag for a long time and decided what she wanted was for them to be made into a quilt. She has a wonderful friend that did it for her in time for Mother's Day. It was amazing!

Late Birthday Shout Out's!

I have been really bad with posting birthdays for a LONG time and have a goal to be better about it! To catch up, Happy Birthday to my sister, JaNae...my sister, Jaymee...my sister's boyfriend, Mike who basically is my brother in law...and my friend Michelle Bair, who's birthday fell on Mother's Day this year! Couldn't be a better final three!

Well I couldn't be happier with the results of the bottom three! These were my three ic's LONG ago! Syesha is my favorite female vocalist on the show this season by a mile and the two David's...we'll it's a toughy buth they're definatly the two best! Ath this point it will be sad no matter what but I hope they all do well in the future! I wanna hear them all on the radio!

Anaston has been such a joy in our lives. She is such an exciting one to watch grow! She is always full of energy and so smart, learning new things to do and say, daily. There is never a dull moment when you're with Anaston. She's always having fun and so adventurous. She entertains and makes friends instantly with anyone around.
