Brooklyn and London

Look how much these girls are growing! One of Anaston's favorite past times is being with her cousins Brooklyn and London, well and of course Aunt JaNae. It's so nice having them so close to always get together! We have all become so close this year after moving near them.

Anaston loves her cousins!

We had so much fun this week with Melanie and the boys! They came down for a visit and Anaston just loved being with the kids. Redden and Ryder are so cute with her. They can get her to laugh harder than anyone! She really bonded with Ranger who is her age, only 5 weeks apart. It was nice to give my face and hair a rest, seeing she had Ranger to do that to instead. She and Ranger just loved to touch eachothers faces and play together. They had so much fun exploring the water together in the pool!

Father's Day

I haven't had alot of time in the last few weeks since I set up this blog to do any posts so I'm making up for lost time. Brian had a wonderful Father's Day! Me and Anaston got up early and snuck out of the room to make daddy chocolate and white chocolate covered strawberries(he loves them...who doesn't?!) and breakfast while he slept in! Then we gave him our gifts. He loved them. We spent time together as a family and then joined each of our dad's and families for dinner. It was a very special day, being Brian's first REAL Father's Day!

Family BBQ

On Monday night for family night, we got together with a bunch of Brian's family for some swimming and a BBQ. It was a great turn out! Anaston had so much fun swimming with all of her cousins. There were at least 20 kids in the pool at all times and she was lovin it! We had so much fun hangin out with everyone! It was a sad night though, because Brian's sister Melanie lives in Utah and was going home the next morning. They came down for a whole week to hang out and we had so much fun with them while they were here. She has three boys Redden, Ryder, and Ranger who is only a month older than Anaston. It's going to be so fun to watch both them grow! We already miss you guys so its a good thing we are coming to Utah next week!

D-backs vs. Red Sox!

So with Daddy being a huge sports fan, especially baseball and softball, it was only a matter of time before Anaston attended her first game! I got Brian 4 tickets to the game vs the red sox a few weeks ago for his birthday, so us three went and took papa(Brian's dad). We had a great time and Anaston was so into the game! I was a little nervous thinking she'd get really tired but she lasted quite a while and then passed out for an hour, even with all that noise from the game. I was in shock! She's so sensitive to sound now that she's getting older. I was so proud of her!

American Idol

This season we really got into American Idol. We watched every episode or tivo'd them to watch later that night when we got home. We were big fans of Jordin from the start, so we are so glad she won. We wanted to share this video for you if you didn't get to see American idol this year. Natalie is going to love me for posting this!

Anaston learns to giggle!

This video is a little bit older, but I thought it was cute to put on here!

Memorial Day Weekend

This year we ventured to good old Show Low for Memorial Weekend to see Brian's softball tournament. We stayed in Linden with Grandma and Grandpa Knight and had some fun outings with the guys and their families...ie:paint balling, playing cards. Brian's team took third in a tough tourmanent after playing four tiring games in a row on Monday to finish the tournament. Brian played amazing, only making two outs the whole tournament combined! Woo hoo!

First Swimming Adventures!

This baby loves the water! I bought her the cutest suit, cover up and sandals(of course, being my first baby I go all out) and have tried taking her out to our pool many times but the water was always too cold and I was afraid she wouldn't like it. But not this weekend! Finally warm enough, she splashed her little heart out and loved it! This has lead to her wanting me to run the faucet in the house ad letting her play with it or splash around in the bath tub. We have truly discovered a new love of hers...WATER!
